This summer, my husband had his very own diaper party. So if you’ve ever wondered how to throw a diaper party, look no further!
This was a guys-only affair and a fun way to celebrate baby #2. Some couples host a diaper party together, but since I had my tea party baby sprinkle, this was a fun event just for the gents.
What is a Diaper Party?
A diaper party is exactly what it sounds like, a party where guests show up and bring you diapers! It’s a great way to stock up on diapers before the baby comes and a more low-key affair than a traditional baby shower.
A lot of couples host a diaper party when looking for second-baby party ideas. Or as a fun guys-only thing (which is what my husband did).
How to Throw a Diaper Party
Diaper parties can be hosted just about anywhere. For my husband’s diaper party, they decided to head out on the town for the day. But first, they stopped off at our house to drop off the diapers.

Diaper Party Ideas
After the raffle, everyone went around the room saying wishes for our family. It was totally impromptu and really sweet. After that, the guys went out for lunch.
There are a lot of other ways you could do a diaper party like a day of golf, an evening at his favorite steakhouse or a casual backyard BBQ. I know another couple whose “man shower” was a night in with his friends playing video games. Just pick something fun that suits Dad best! It’s a great way for Dad to celebrate baby without having to participate in girly baby shower games.
