I have an entire post dedicated to why I dislike Trash the Dress photos and ironically enough, it’s a subject people seem to get quite heated about! Do what you like, but there’s nothing to do with a million extra wedding photos of yourself. I’ve got 1,000 from just the wedding and I can tell you right now, they’re not all hanging up in my home or gathering dust in a photo album.

Staches on a Stick
I feel like there’s an inside joke I must have missed out on here….where, when and why in God’s name did taking pictures with mustaches on a stick become so freaking popular? Sure, it’s kinda funny. But it’s everywhere. I’ve never seen so many floating mustaches in my life. Here’s the thing about weddings: if you’re not keeping it classic and timeless, you’re going to look back and wonder what the hell you were thinking. Just sayin…

Sure, they were pretty novel and fun when they first came out. But it almost seems like a wedding requirement now. Quick tip: if you’re looking to save $1,000 on that wedding, you do not need a photo booth. Trust. If you’re dead set on having one, this is super easy to DIY.

Matching Bridesmaid Dresses
The days of matchy-matchy bridesmaid dresses are long gone ladies! If these are, in fact, your best pals, let them pick a dress that fits and flatters them. Most women have completely different body types so you may as well embrace it and your bridesmaids (and photos!) will thank you. Not sure how to pull off the trend? Check out my guide on how to pull off mismatched bridesmaid dresses.
