2016 Holiday Gift Guide: Beauty Gifts
Total Matte Smoky Glow Palette for Eyes & Brows
A great chocolate makeup palette is such an essential, and I’m loving the colors of this Christian Dior Total Matte Smoky Glow Palette for Eyes & Brows.
Clinique Moisture Surge
One of my all-time favorite moisturizers is Clinique Moisture Surge. It’s a gel-based formula that’s super lightweight and really quenches the skin. Macy’s also has this cute gift set.
Philosophy Amazing Grace
Not into gifting makeup? Philosophy Amazing Grace is a classic gift set just about any gal will love. The scent is oh-so-lovely and it’s a great value at just $18 ($30 if purchased separately.)
Stella McCartney Gift Set
One of my all-time favorite perfumes is this STELLA Stella McCartney scent, so this little gift set has officially made my wish list! It’s a $90 value and likely to sell out.

Drybar The Four Pack Set
I get a lot of questions about my favorite dry shampoos, and right now I’m loving Drybar’s Detox. This Four Pack Set from Drybar is a great way to test drive some of their products. It includes Drybar Detox, TripleSec 3-in-1 Texturizer, Money Maker Flexible Hold Hairspray and Sparkling Soda Shine Mist.
MAC Nordstrom C’est Chic Matte Eyeshadow Palette
I’m a sucker for a pretty eyeshadow palette and I’m loving the shades in this MAC Nordstrom C’est Chic Matte Eyeshadow Palette. They’re super wearable colors, and I love the matte finish. While a little bit of shimmer is nice, I’ve really been into matte these days as it’s just more polished for an everyday look. And, I’m not 20…
Vichy Hylauronic Acid Intense Hydration Skin Care Mini Gift Set
I love sampling gift sets during the holidays as a way to try out new products. And this Vichy Hylauronic Acid Intense Hydration Skin Care Mini Gift Set is a great starter set if you aren’t familiar with Vichy products. It also makes a great travel set, too. I’ve been using the Vichy Double Peel Glow Mask about once a week or more and have been loving it, so this brand gets a thumbs up in my book. And for just $20, it won’t break the bank!
slip for beauty sleep Pure Silk Pillowcase
Take it from the makers: “This anti-aging, anti-sleep crease, anti-bed head pillowcase by slip for beauty sleep is like an eight-hour beauty treatment every night.” And really, who wouldn’t want to sleep on such soft silk at night? Silky pillowcases have long been touted as a beauty sleep essential to help prevent lines and wrinkles, prevent hair damage from night tangles and keep your night cream actually on your face since silk is less absorbed than other fibers. Considering how many hours we spend asleep this seems like a worthwhile investment. They also make this silk eye mask.
Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick
A great YSL lipstick is something any gal will covet, so adding this to the list was a no-brainer.
Also worth mentioning…
Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Mat
I’m adding the Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Mat to my holiday wish list, as it’s such an easy way to keep those makeup brushes clean! I use a super sophisticated method to clean my makeup brushes (which currently involves many, many paper towels), but this brush cleaning mat is brilliant. And, it’s just $25. Get it here.
Worth the Splurge…
Sephora Collection Easel Brush Set
This limited edition Sephora Collection Easel Brush Set comes with a whopping 27 professional-grade makeup brushes, so you’ll never have to buy another makeup brush set again. I have not personally tested out this set but the five star reviews are fantastic. Learn more about it here.
